MacroMacro - Presets: Browsing, Saving, and Favorites

MacroMacro ships with a curated library of presets that showcase the power of the big knob. You can also create and manage your own presets for quick recall.

Browsing Factory Presets

1. Click the Preset Name at the bottom bar to open the browser.
2. Scroll or search by category (Ambience, Modulation, Drive, etc.).
3. Click a preset name to load it instantly.

Tip: Play with the big knob on each preset to hear its full range.

Saving Your Own Presets

1. Dial in your effect settings and big knob mappings.
2. Click the Save icon (disk symbol) in the preset bar.
3. Name your preset and choose a category.
4. Press Save. Your preset now appears in the browser under “User.”

Favorites

• Click the star icon next to any preset to mark it as a favorite.
• Use the “Favorites” filter in the browser to show only starred presets.

Backing Up Presets

User presets are stored in your user folder:

• macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Nightfox Audio/MacroMacro/User Presets
• Windows: C:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Roaming\Nightfox Audio\MacroMacro\User Presets

Copy this folder to back up or move presets to another machine.
