MacroMacro: Header Controls, Settings, and Spectrum
Use these controls at the top of MacroMacro to manage your global settings, map parameters to hardware controllers, and optimize CPU usage.
Header Controls

Master EQ & Compression
Toggle each on or off with the power buttons.

Bypass
Turns off Master EQ, Master Compression, and all active effects at once.

Level & Global Pan
Adjust overall output and stereo position. Double-click the Pan control to reset it to center.

Mute
Silences MacroMacro without changing any settings.

Settings
Open the Settings panel to review controller mappings and adjust preferences.
Settings and MIDI CC Mapping

Review mappings
Any parameter you right-click and map inside MacroMacro appears in the MIDI CC Mapping list in Settings.

Learn MIDI CC
Right-click a control in MacroMacro, choose Learn MIDI CC, then move a knob, fader, or mod wheel on your controller to assign it.

Clear all mappings
Use the Clear MIDI CC button in Settings to remove every mapping at once.

Color mode and tooltips
Switch between light and dark mode and turn tooltips on or off to suit your workflow.

DAW-managed items
Some values shown in Settings come directly from your DAW. Change those in your DAW preferences.
Spectrum Display and CPU Tips

Spectrum
The spectrum analyzer shows real-time frequency information for the plugin’s output. If you need to reduce CPU usage, turn the Spectrum display off in the Settings panel.
